Interesting how a Bargain Bin find can get you interested in a flick from way back when I was a freshman in high school...A B&W film shot in New York with a jazz flavored musical score that is a story of a young girl g up for dancing lessons and falling for her instructor...Dat's all I know about it, but the rankings on this long ago flick are quite high...About the only major name in it is Robert Mandan from "Soap" TV show fame...Liebman's score is crisp and lyrical...plus the quality of the LP is really good...A treasure that makes me want to hunt out the film and take a peek at this ancient cinematic tale...
