Sadly my copy has micro-scrathes and pops/cracks a lot, might get better after I wash it, on first listen I only dusted it. -
my pressing (european version) actually sounds very good. nice dynamics and bass. little surface noise but overall very good.

The album is, as the name says, one of the best ones yet. Truly amazing.
This pressing however looks, feels and sounds like utter garbage.
My sealed copy arrived warped and with lots of scratches, cracks and pops like no tomorrow and is close to unlistenable.
Premier would probably be horrified to hear what amounted to probably hundreds of work hours and turned to nothing...
Get it for your collection and listen to it on .flac, it deserves more than this pressing can offer. Or, who knows, maybe I was just unlucky?
PS: I actually thought my crappy vintage JVC gear was at fault, but after taking this out I put in my PF - DSOTM disc and felt like my soul was returning to my body. -

Edited 5 years agoUS pressing has the hype sticker on the bottom right instead of top right. It has US style inner sleeves and different labels. Those on sides A & B have two ridges/rings instead of one. The hype sticker on my US copy is a slightly different silver to the EU pressing, it has more of a textured look to it.
