I’m so happy I got this. The remastering really gives this new life and blows the doors off the first pressings, in my humble opinion. If this is one of your favorite Pink Floyd albums, like it is mine, you should experience this pressing. Very robust and lush. Every subtle detail can be heard with crystal clarity. You won’t be disappointed.

I have the 2011 CD-Experiance Edition which is better than this LP on headphones. I had an original issue LP and from my memory-lol- this LP issue is awesome in every way. I love it-buy it if you can….more than 8000 people in discogs can’t be wrong!

Just dusted this off for a spin...Flat, no blemishes, virtually silent background, and (we all know this album well...) the sound is damn good (nothing crazily messed with but this album has never really needed an overhaul) all the elements are there and present in this mix. In my subjective opinion it sounds great on my modest system...

        (Fluance RT-82 w/Acrylic Platter, ATN-XP cart/5 stylus. Nobsound T3 Phono Amp, Aiyima A07 Pro, Kicker KB6B, & 2x Polk PSW10 Subs...Simple Low Cost Setup)...Happy Listening

Superb pressing remaining true to the original.
Quality jacket postcard and inner sleeve. Vinyl is flat and quiet, and sound is full and robust.

I enjoyed the mastering on this. When the sax solo comes in on Shine On You Crazy Diamonds, it sounds real organic and lively. Just like it’s there in the room with you. The keyboard work on Welcome To The Machine and Have A Cigar is phenomenal. The soundstage is just amazing. Sounds clean all the way through. No pops or clicks with minimal to no surface noise. Couldn’t hear any surface noise on the quieter parts or interludes. Perhaps only at the beginning of Shine On You Crazy Diamonds part 1 was there the occasional static sound, but really negligible. Love the presentation. The album cover is solidly made and the disc sleeve as well. The mechanical hands sticker is a nice addition as well. Great bargain for arguably the best Pink Floyd album up there with the Dark Side of the Moon.

My copy is very clean and dead silent. Sounds very good. I'm happy with this purchase

Just came home from Barnes and Noble with this one. It was dusty. Very dusty. Needed a good brushing. After cleaning it up, it plays very nicely. Sounds GREAT. I would bold and underline GREAT if I could :) Happy with my purchase.

Edit: I'd like to add that I've upgraded my stylus to an ortofon M2 blue. Dang. Good job, Mr. Grundman. This album sounds fanfreakingtastic. Crank up "Have a Cigar".

I’m 50/50 on this one. The remastering here is obvious, the tracks really do sound played with and these guys apparently had to push the synth heavy to the front. You’ll either think it’s amazing or just an ok but different version on an album most of us are extremely familiar with. I personally am not overly impressed with the remastering done here or the pressing. In the beginning of side A there are pops and static and then in the end of side B there is more, which should not be the case here. At this point, this album should be able to come out perfect in of sound before pressing and after. Prepare the either be blown away or relatively disappointed.

Near perfect pressing, some surface noise, but nothing too distracting. Great clarity and dynamics. Fantastic album. Can't recommend enough, especially considering the quality you get for the price. 4.5 / 5

I have to say that the pressing is not the great, and the sound is ok. A solid record, but not that brillant. The remaster is from digital files, but all of the mayority of records are like this now days. But, is a must buy from the musical point.
