I have another variant from this US green release with matrix/runout Numbers:
Side A: 233662E1/A #R2
Side B: 233662E2/A #R2
Somebody else have this version?
Why is not listed here ?

Edited one year agoI don´t get why a limited edition gets a repress. I feel a bit like cheated after all.

I’ve never heard an of pressing (never seen one for that matter) but this reissue is very quality. Everyone has brought up the surface noise but, at least on my copy, the surface noise isn’t very noticeable. I strongly recommend it. Very dynamic and has great live representation of the album. Snag it up! Looks like it was just repressed

Others have mentioned - and I will repeat, pretty noisy in some quiet spots, unfortunately. Great sounding record though, and if you get a less noisy copy congrats!

Edited 4 years agoPretty good pressing. Great mastering, low end really shines- the drums have a hell of a kick to em. Very dynamic, never really "got" Soup until I heard this wonderful uncompressed version that absolutely filled my room. One downside is there is some surface noise, a little audible during the end of Vitamin C/ beginning of Soup. Still comes with a strong recommendation though.

Edited 4 years agoThe US pressing unfortunately is pretty hit and miss. I'm on my second copy. The first had a pock mark that made the end of Vitamin C unlistenable. I'm on my second copy and although better, there is still noticeable noise throughout. It's a shame as otherwise it's an excellent sounding recording. Hoping it will get better over time - have to floss that grit out with the stylus. I gave it a rinse in the Spin Clean (no soap) just to get the static and any loose debris off. Not sure if my ultrasonic cleaner would help, but I put it away for now and have no desire to bring it back out. So... going to give it some time, but be warned, out of two pressings, and "out of the box," this US version has some surface noise... I am playin it on a ProS Cartridge w/STY40 - Ortofon STY40 Fritz Gyger stylus which are known to be pretty sensitive, but my other new records fair much better so there's only so much you can blame the stylus on.

We now have three listings for the green vinyl edition, but there's a strong chance these are all the same pressing and the only difference between them is the sticker on the back. If people could add runouts to the listings so that we can figure that out, that would be great.
