Notes
Original 1971 Japanese first pressing with gatefold sleeve, insert, and obi.
This release includes the following:
(1) ¥2,000 printed on obi front, obi back (inside gatefold), and on the lower right corner on the back of the sleeve.
(2) The Warner-Pioneer Corporation established in April 1972.
(3) Company inner sleeve advertising the "Rock Age" campaign which includes the front cover artwork from this release.
There are three obi variants for this release:
(1) Black obi (also included with blue-label promo).
(2) Black obi (same as above), with affixed "Rock Age" campaign gimmick sticker.
(3) Green obi, custom "Rock Age" campaign gimmick obi (also known as the "Flower" obi).
Some copies of this first pressing had a foil ¥2,300 sticker placed over the original printed ¥2,000 price on the obi front, presumably in order to sell the remaining first pressings at the same price as the ¥2,300 second pressing.
The second pressing, issued in 1972, has ¥2,300 printed in the three price locations and Warner-Pioneer Corporation company text credited on disc labels and inside gatefold.
The "Limited Edition" 1974 reissue pressing has a standard, non-gatefold sleeve, with a ¥1,500 price.

I have a mysterious copy of this. Probably unofficial, the label says Atlantic tho. 180 gram with great sound quality.
No name, no title on the cover, in fact the top of poor Buddha's bun is missing. Same on the back + 2000 ¥ price tag.
No credits visible under the carp on the painting inside. The picture of the band is rather black and white, not sepia (like other versions).
Does anyone know something? -
I just found this on Popsike:

Is that a legitimate obi? I've never seen this one before. -
I'm looking for the insert and OBI only of this ¥2000 first press. If anyone has it and wants to sell it please send me a message.

Edited 4 years agoI heard this album, for the first time, two weeks ago; I'm still thinking about Satori Part II. I'm still going back to it every few days.

Anyone can tell me which is the true 1st edition? The "K-4001A" (¥1500) or the "P-8056A" (¥2000) that usually is sold at very much higher prices?
