Wow... how underrated is the Midi-mix (A2) on this 12"?! I skipped over it for years, since the original Strangelove is so catchy. However, this Midi-Mix is almost like... digitized gamelan music. The instruments and color are so much different. Gentler than the staccato, gated drums on the other mixes, and far more subtle than the pop single arrangement, the Midi-Mix would be perfectly at home in a movie score or snuck into the mix of an adventurous DJ. Give it a second listen and see for yourself ~~~~~
