This is the one to get. solid DMM mastering. thumping bass and all the other goodies. don't let the time length fool ya! sounds amazing from start to finish.

Something about this era of Blur is SO magical! It feels like they were having fun telling a story and experimenting & expanding on their sound. I look forward to owning this on vinyl ONE day!

ok i dont get why damon calls this a mess when think tank was clearly that. this will always be a legendary piece of work. mockney as a genre was pretty good! and no love songs which makes it so refreshing. so much catchy material and humour. the next album was of course very different but still great

"Eine Kleine Lift Musik" would have fitted in very well on this album imo, maybe sequenced after "Dan Abnormal"
-
Little bit quiet owing to the length of the sides, but crank it up and it sounds fantastic - so much punch and range with sparkling detail and a thumping bottom end. In short, a brilliant pressing (and you don't have to keep changing the sides over like you do on the 2012 repress).
