Sounds great especially considering that it's crammed onto a single LP. Bought still in shrink with hype sticker and $9.99 price tag. Happy to add to the collection especially since my 2012 2xLP copy uses a different vocal take on "Plume".

I bought this album from personal seller. Everything matches but noticed the matrix is really hard to read and sp1-1 masterdisk looks scribbled out? Anyone else’s copy looks like this?

Looking for a sleeve for this 94 US orange/dark yellow vinyl edition - doesn't have to be in Mint condition. Also looking for an inner.

Owning both the original yellow US 94 pressing and the 2012 reissue EU 2LP (Pressed at Optimal, MK in the deadwax) it's silly to claim the original is the best sounding pressing out there. Off course the original has it's place in history and it sounds OK. Owning an original is always fun and frankly necessary when you are a collector as I am.

But, comparing delicate songs like the acoustic 'Soothe' and 'Landslide' or complex and heavy tracks like 'Frail and Bedazzled' and 'Pissant' the 2LP reissue is the best. Technically it's a no brainer, the songs have more space in the wax.

Soundwise the reissue sounds really entertaining. Jimmy's drumming can now be heard in full glory, it has the power and the drive which lacks a bit on the original. The reissue has the better instrument seperation, overall just a more entertaining and mesmerizing listen of how great these songs really are.

Gorgeous looking and sounding vinyl! To me this is as good as any other Smashing album, b-sides and Siamese outtakes are all first class tracks, no fillers here, I really can't pick a song from another....don't waste your time and money on a reissue, save your $$ for this pressing!

My copy sounds great. No constant surface noise but some little pops and clicks here and there but for the most part the record plays clean and nothing detracts from the music, sounds like it might just be some static stuck in the grooves or dust being that I bought this used and it’s a 25 year old record. I’m sure a cleaning will correct things. The music itself sounds great. With dynamic acoustic timbre, deep bass and clear and present vocals and realistic percussion. Even on some of the harder rock parts, the clarity stays in tact and the treble sounds smooth. It’s also a decent pressing that plays flat and centered.

just bought a nm copy of this for EUR 60 when visiting Rome. after arriving home in Vienna and playing the perfect looking yellow-transparent vinyl on my system, turns out there is surface noise throughout both sides, from beginning to end. it doesn't even stop for a sec. while the general sound an mastering of this press is very good (much better than the cd actually) and there are no pops or ticks throughout play, the high amount of surfoice noise is a real turn off. While its ok on the loud tracks, acoustic tracks like soothe or landslide truly suffer from this. I wonder - did I get a bad or worn out pressing of the first Pisces Iscariot LP and was fooled by its proclaimed "near mint" condition, or were all copies of this press rather "noisy" in of surface noise?
