Not the best sounding pressing. If you can get your hands on the german repress from 2003, get that. Sounds miles better. -
Edited 3 months agoFrom the moment you drop the needle, the pressing is dead quiet, flat, and excellent in sound. I noticed Side C is a bit worse in quality due to it having four tracks on it instead of three. Definitely one of my favorite records I own. Wish it was a gatefold, though. -
I loved the pressing - dead quiet and flat. As far as muddy, Im really not sure. Ive only heard this album on CD prior to this pressing and so my only reference is the CD and this is so much better. -
Madonna’s best album, but it’s a muddy affair. Such a disappointment for such a great album. -
Has this clear pressing been remastered at all, or is it identical to the 2016 Rhino reissue?

I bet this is going to be identical to the EU clear pressing. Pressed at Optimal and mastered by Ian Sechcik at Capitol. But who knows? I’M listening to the EU know and it sounds really good. Please post the deadwax someone.
