Beautiful acoustic renditions of my favourite Bob album. Fascinating and full hearted performances. Vinyl is mostly quiet, sound quality is in-the-room intimate!

I wouldn’t consider myself a Dylan obsessive even though I have virtually all his albums if you get my drift. That being said this is one of my absolute favourites. Very intimate and live sounding including the infamous cuff links hitting the pick guard. Highly recommended.

Edited 2 years agoThe liner notes are actually incorrect - liner notes say the take of Idiot Wind on this record is the same take 4 remake from the first bootleg series. This is incorrect - the take on this LP is different than the one present on the Bootleg series vol. 1-3. Furthermore, the take available on youtube and streaming (the sampler version of this album) is actually the take 4 remake from the first bootleg series, NOT take 6 (which is what it says it is on youtube and streaming.) -

vocal parts of e.g. shelter from the storm are not pleasing. -
Nice pressing. Sound is very good. Annoyed though that there wasn’t more content with the Vinland release.

Reading previous comments, I guess I just have had bad luck. I had to ask for a second copy as the 1st one was scratched and full of fingerprints. My second copy has just come and it’s, again, full of fingerprints and with minor scratches, again. -
