The 2023 repress by Clone is amazing. The vinyl sounds fucking great and has tonnes of bass.

Edited 2 years agoLooks like Clone has announced a reissue of this from the original tapes. Curious how that will work given nanobot's comments... (edit: see the reply from Clone below. Nice one.) -

"We treated this release with the upmost respect. And only did a 2000 unit limited run. So anyone who has this in their collection 👏🏻👏🏻, Kombination Research (KR) was originally a label I started to releases only my The Advent solo music, I became very good friends with Drexciya over the 90’s and my KR B-sides were very much Drex Influenced. This ‘hypothetical Situations’ project was a complete honour when I received the Demo for release..
Recently during the pandemic I was approached to maybe re releases this from last remaining Drexicyian, but unfortunately the master DATs are completely destroyed with Tape erosion. -

Essential vinyl release, maybe the best of the Drexciyan Storms, side A1 plays perfectly as well on 33rpm, get it while you can.

The guy who sold this record to me also told me it was James Stinson only, I believe that too as it's closer to Transllusion. But on Discogs it seems Abstract Thought is both Gerald Donald & James Stinson. -
One of the best electronic album of the 21 st century.
Pure masterpiece from Gerald Donald. True and unique piece.
Ideas about future and vision of what planet could be.
