Just got myself a first UK pressing and it’s a game changer! This album sounds amazing if you get a good copy. It’s definitely “different” because of George’s voice change due to heavy touring and some extra-curricular “fun”, but the band rocks and has soul and so does George! If you have the recent reissue, put it aside and get a real good original pressing and you will rediscover this album and hear just how great it is :) I’m so glad I did!

My copy is the same UK version but with a small round silver sticker "X pathé marconi" beside the references PAS 10008 stereo
OC 064.05774. Also, there is no second inner sleeve with the lyrics but it could be lost : it was a second hand record. -
Edited 9 years agoMy side 1 matrix runout ends with 1 U - anyone knows about this?
The full matrix on my record is :
Matrix / Runout (Runout A etched / stamped): SMAS-1-3418-ZIL YEX 941 - 1 U II 1 (not sure about II1)
Matrix / Runout (Runout B etched / stamped): SMAS-2-3418-ZIL YEX 942 - 2 U LG 5
