Death (2) – The Sound Of Perseverance

Bad Cover Qualitiy...The Records are not flat...No Insert´s or other additional Stuff..But its a Deluxe Edition...hahaha

First off, the expanded triple gatefold is gorgeous, and also MASSIVE- so don’t expect to be able to fit this in a normal poly outer sleeve! The olive green looks quite nice, and works well offsetting the red and gold of the labels and jacket art. Sound wise, although this is a GZ pressing, the noise floor is VERY low, and the light amount of noise is only noticeable on the runout and lead in grooves, so essentially nonexistent. This pressing sounds phenomenal- each instrument has room to breathe, and the drums are punchy and deep, cymbals are crisp, and the guitar and bass are incredibly detailed- very present soundstage and overall excellent mastering. I feel like this might be the ideal format for the album (at least in my opinion) as the mastering for the vinyl release nestles Chuck’s vocals into the mix a bit, which allows the instrumentals to shine alongside the vocals, where in the digital release the vocals are more upfront and aggressive, which distracted from the ing music and became harsh to listen to after a while (but that’s just my two cents). I just feel that this mix has all the layers bundled together tightly enough that there are no outliers breaking through and overpowering the other parts, but also allows for some excellent definition and space- where one can pick out each instrument and follow along while also enjoying the track as a whole- 10/10 pressing, package, and album! I haven’t listened to the newer relapse reissues but I just have to assume that they sound equally strong.

Maybe the best repress for the SOUND of this masterpiece!!! Strong & beautiful trifold!

Does anyone Else have LP-1 Side B is labeled as Demos?
My LP's are labeled Sound of Perseverance on A,C & D while B, E & F are labeled Demo's.

Figured this may be a mis-print which is fine with me but need to see if anyone else has this..

I Pre-ordered on 07/14/2018.
Thinking this is a misprint and should be noted that there are misprints in circulation. Maybe someone can and get the numbers of how many were mislabeled.

A most excellent pressing of the album. The olive green looks really nice. If you enjoy this album & you're looking to snag a copy for your catalog of Chuck's material, then go ahead and get you one you'll be happy. :) \m/

Any oppinions regarding dynamic range of this vinyl ? ?

I have the impression that this entry is wrong. This is the same with https://discogs.librosgratis.biz/Death-The-Sound-Of-Perseverance-/release/12518839 which is the anniversary edition for the 20 years of the album. The 20 years are this year and not 2017...
