Sounds incredible, one of the best sounding pressings I own. Unfortunately mine has a skip near the end of hey mama, but it doesn’t take away from this pressing. Nice heavy records and a poster is included. Just really wish “late” and “we can make it better” were on here, maybe they wouldn’t have fit though

My copy sound amazing , the pressing has no problem , just the sleeve could have been better

I seem to be getting a lot of sibilance in my version of this pressing and wanted to check to see if anyone else is experiencing this. I really have to do a bit of EQ adjustments to tone down the vocal sharpness.

My copy sounds absolutely amazing, warm rich and no issues with the pressing. Unfortunately the packaging is awful. Just like Eminem's albums, the 2 records are just shoved into a flimsy sleeve -
Edited 5 years agoI can report that this is a very fine pressing, with the timbre of Kanye’s voice reproducing in a vibrant and dynamic way. HOWEVER, as other Discog s have pointed out, the sleeve is extremely flimsy. For instance, my mam’s toyboy’s son from another relationship, 5-year old Tristan, came round the other week, and kept asking to look at it. He calls it “the teddy bear record”. I was cautious to let him actually hold it, because he is so clumsy. That’s why I put the sleeve just out of his reach, on a shelf, so he could look at it but not touch it. Sadly, when I left the room momentarily to fetch myself a fun-sized Snickers from the treats jar in the kitchen, Tristan somehow managed to climb up and pull down the entire shelf off the wall, smashing one of my mam’s most precious kitten ornaments in the process. But that wasn’t even the worst thing. Because Tristan had got hold of “the teddy bear record” and in his frenzied excitement, had torn the sleeve into three pieces. Roc-A-Fella Records, if you are reading, PLEASE consider making your sleeves out of a thicker, more sturdy type of cardboard in the future, so as to prevent exactly this type of unfortunate misadventure befalling others!! -
Edited 6 years agoIt sucks that Kanye's records sleeves are so fragile, i just bought it and even before I remove the seal, it was already fold... Only his 1 LP records have fine sleeves... -
