Really nice sound on this one but they didn't put much effort into the packaging. 4 page front insert is completely blank on the inside lol

Edited 10 years agoNot really a greatest hits album at all, just a compilation that contains some of his singles and other songs that had been recorded up to that point in 1966. Is this a best of? Well that's very subjective, these are certainly some of the more obvious choices, and it's hard to dilute 7 albums down into 10 songs, but these aren't necessarily what I would select. I would just recommend listening to all the albums that he'd made up to that point and deciding for yourself. "Positively 4th Street" didn't appear on a album so you could get this just for that however it also appears on the "Biograph" collection along with all of these songs, so if you are just looking for compilation album, I'd start there, that said this is still a great, great, concise selection.
