Edited 7 years agoI heard the first two and I'm so mixed with the sound. I'm like is it the tapes the machines the mastering engineer or engineers. Why is it so compressed if that's what the problem. Is it a loudness war ordeal. This will probably be the last time they ever get released. Unless a box set will be in the works someday like most. Seems like a box set always pops up for what ever reason. But yeah it's bright but after a while you adjust the EQ and it's ok. I mean it's The Residents. What's up with the cover for this. Was that the original original.

Bonus tracks are mostly interesting but, my god, the sound on this is truly horrific. Awful example of the loudness wars nonsense. Tragic.
