Edited 3 years agoI think it's strange this isn't the full show. Missing are excellent songs like Better Man, Rearviewmirror, Black, Blood, Yellow Ledbetter & great covers like Let My Love Open The Door and Little Wing.

It sounds great on vinyl, i was so surprised by the quality! Highly recommended, the set starting with Release and closing with Alive and Porch is epic!

I think this is actually a very good recording of this show. I was at this show, so I've listened to many different versions and I doubt a better version than this exists. For many fans and critics this is considered to be Pearl Jam's greatest concert, so it's definitely one to search out.

This vinyl was pressed at Cascade Record Pressing in Portland, OR not at RTI. I know this because I watched running through the presses.

Soldier vault is a good, but not great audio effort here. There's no denying how great this classic show is; however, PJ continues its tradition of underwhelming us with its record releases. It seems a bit thin to me overall. The imaging is solid, but the drums in particular seem recessed. I'm guessing they chose this show because there was a bootleg version that was recently in the marketplace, so perhaps trying to outflank the bootleggers. Anyway, PJ does a lot of things great, unfortunately audio fidelity doesn't seem to be one of them.
