Edited 2 years agoI don't know if this is a result of it being a picture disc, or if it is just a bad digital transfer to vinyl, but this pressing is seriously lacking dynamics. It sounds flat and dull, but I guess I should consider myself lucky: (a) Picture discs shouldn't be expected to be anywhere near audiophile quality and (b) My copy seems decent - no unusual surface noise, and it appears to be pressed on center with no warping. My tonearm isn't prarie-dogging or hula dancing. (for side A so far!)
Note: Several pops/clicks on the 1st track on Side B. Tone arm still stable, so the other physical aspects (warping, centering) seem to still be fine. -
A pretty good sounding picture disk, way better than some of the others I own. This soundtrack is nearly perfect, and is definitely worth buying for the artwork and if you're a Guardians fan! -
I agree with the other reviews, it crackles and pops, but it doesn't really ruin the listening experience so I still love it. Picture record is awesome, both sides. -

Great music - poor pressing quality. My copy is on center, but full of snaps, crackles and pops that remain despite numerous attempts to clean.

Off center, wowing like crazy. TT arm swaying back and forth so much it's making me seasick. Shame. -

Sounds bad. Don't own the black vinyl version for comparison but this is extremely weak
