Sounds excellent. Mine has both sides of the record marked as side B. Besides that, perfect reissue!
-
I personally have nothing negative to say at all. Really, really good sounding pressing. Super clear, balanced, and heavy! Love it.
-
I must say this reissue sounds extremely good, very close to the original press. The original press sounds louder and darker. No who is better conclusion here. Both are fantastic!
-
Does the innersleeve include lyrics? Its not mentioned in the notes and there isn't any images of the innersleeve.
-
Cleaned my copy on a VPI-style machine immediately after opening the shrink and had no issues with popping or skipping. Sounds great.
-
The interludes may sound a bit too loud at the first listen but the album sounds really great. True to the original ! Good job !

Sounds pretty good, better than CD. I'm not blown away by sound by any means, though. "Inpropagation" skipped at about 3:30. Adjusted tone arm counterweight, which fixed skip, but there's still a loud pop. Biggest improvement in sound quality on this vs CD is actually the interludes between songs. My dream would be for this album to get a high-end half speed master release a la MoFi or Abbey Road. This isn't that (they don't claim that it is). I was hoping to be wowed like I was with Rhino Vinyl Sabbath reissues, but I wasn't.

Excellent sound, clear and balanced. - If you don't know the music and still consider Slayer unrivaled in extreme metal, check this out.
