I have had this 2017 and listened many many times. It has from moment one been one of those vinyl that just isn’t a sharp, tight sound. Always has had a couple ticks here and there. Coming from listening to it on Spotify, I would still choose the vinyl as it’s richer and presents a better soundstage. I think the production of this album is a bit loose and congealed vs super tight, enhanced produced (over?) type mastering. To my ears the file/streaming sounds worse. One of my all time favs. I think the production and mastering really fit the music, and I’m glad it isn’t over enhanced/produced. It sounds like the album cover looks and enhances the poetry of the title.

I'm really disappointed about the dull sound. No matter what genre a band plays, a good, clear sound always makes it better. I have no means of comparison and so I hope that the colored vinyl causes this, because musically Elder are unique...

Excellent album! I am very pleased with my copy. Don't expect a very sharp vinyl sound because they are playing stoner of course:) that's how it is but the sound is powerful. Thank's so much for the gift to have that beauty on vinyl!

Amazing album, there's stoner, doom, metal and rock here and it all works so well. Love the coloured vinyl and the artwork is killer as well. No major sound issues, sounds great!

Looks great and plays great, vinyl is very quiet, but not dead quiet, some pops after vacuum cleaning, but I guess all color vinyl has it. Wish they made a black vinyl version. Album is my favourite after Dead Roots Stirring. But I'm only on the first listening session, it's close to be IOC with my favourite. Love this band.
