Sounds like there is a black version of this RTI pressing (Slowdive - Slowdive) floating around that is not listed on Discogs yet. Can someone who owns PLEASE add it? -
To be honest, I think this release has nothing to envy to its successful predecessors like "Just for a Day" and the acclaimed "Souvlaki". They still sounding brilliantly fresh, and better than ever. Worth listening. -
OMG you guys, if you can find the black RTI pressing, holy crap this thing sounds amazing. SO CLEAN. Dynamics for days! Wow! One of the best sounding records in my collection.

Their signature sound is still there, but there are new elements that bring an extra sparkle. Really wonderful.

Slowdive - Slowdive
I found these guys back in college. Stole some of their cd's from the record station back in the day.
Regardless, This release has some of the most beautiful tracks to date. It really can be a deep experience when played in the right setting. It is an experience to get totally lost in a track, forgetting where you are and thinking a circus field of thoughts. A five minute track feels much longer. The gutairs steer you into the room where all the heavenly garden of bliss is. The male and female vocals just interweave here and there. Enhancing, blending, never taking away from. "Sugar For The Pill" is a brilliant stand out track.
Slowdive have never gotten stale and have always put out strong albums. This is another fine example.
