This was an in-person impulse purchase, sealed at a local store. The other review made me nervous but I really enjoy it and play it on a mid range system (turntable/speakers/subwoofer). The vocals are a bit buried compared to other recordings that aren’t live or with a full symphony orchestra. Not the most dynamic mix or best recording for sure but still really lovely and a great find if you come across it. -
I'm not too impressed with the sound quality on this. The whole thing sounds flat and the vocals are buried in the mix on most of the songs (especially on Steven's last Night In Town). The record itself, however, is quiet and free of any physical defects.
