To obtain a clearer sound Marino equalized with higher frequencies and therefore less bass. Good for listening in the car... Not for a high end hi-fi system. As for all led zeppelin mastered by Marino Avoid it and prefers the 80's CD.

If you have the 4CD box set from 1990 and the 2 CD Box Set 2 then you have all the Marino Masters!
I'm collecting the mid 80s first edition CD's now, most were mastered by Barry Diamant. The 2014 Remasters were overseen by Jimmy Page.
