Duran Duran – Thank You

I don't hate this album. In fact, I think it's good. Not great, but not the worst thing ever like some people are saying. I hope Parlophone allows this album (and the Wedding Album) to be rereleased at some point

Just today run this CD for the 1st time. I think this one is more solid than the previous "The Wedding Album". Rating this the worst album ever just makes me laugh! What's the point of making a cover sound just like the original? I think Toto's cover album deserves to be in place of Duran Duran's on that stinking list. There's been records I hardly can listen to at all. So, what's better what's worse depends on the taste of the customer as well as the state of xeir mind. –Plus– This summer I saw DD at concert 4 the 1st time -- they visited us last time 40 yrs ago! "Freeze Rock" simply rules!

I love this album. I think it was great. It introduced me to some other bands, and songs I had never heard.
I think they should have had "White Lines" be the first single since it was already getting attention before the release.
Then, go with Perfect Day, an amazing cover song. I also wonder why "White Lines" was included as a B-Side to Perfect Day? Makes me wonder if someone at the record company was doing some White Lines.....

The sticker on my case says that it includes a 4 track live bonus cd. Did all of the stickers say that?

I don't quite understand why this album is rated so badly, it's regular mid-90's pop, not better or worse. Even though the cover versions sounds nothing like the originals doesn't make it a bad album. That would mean that Metallica's Garage Days album also is crap, but strangely enough that album has good reviews.
