Notes

Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars (sometimes called Bowie 1973) is a 1979 documentary and concert film by Hammersmith Odeon on 3 July 1973. At this show, Bowie made the sudden surprise announcement that the show would be "the last show that we'll ever do", later understood to mean that he was retiring his Ziggy Stardust persona.

Αccording to David Bowie Wonderworld Message Board:
"...a 1980 release of "A London Show" A.K.A. "Ziggy Stardust" (live at the Hammersmith Odeon, 3 July 1973), the actual FILM that was shown in the cinemas in Italy back in the 70's for a very short while; it lasts approx 60 minutes and has ORIGINAL PICTURE AND SOUND (without the overdubbs added with the 1984 release and before the restoring operations). Even at its time of release circa 1980, this cassette was extremely rare and retailed at $80 as import in the Paris shops.
