Porter Robinson – Worlds

Such a disservice to a beautiful album. Sloppy press. Cracks and pops galore that won’t come out. No label on side D of my copy.

This pressing is heaven. Absolutely wonderfully done. Leagues better than the original copies pressed back in 2014 or so. It’s also very beautiful to look at, I go into a trance watching it play lol

The album is incredible and it's such a shame the quality this was released in. This is easily the worst sounding record in my collection :(

Does anybody know if this comes with a digital for Hollowheart? If so what file format? Thanks!

My copy seems to be slightly warped on both discs causing some minor but noticeable pitch fluctuation from time to time, and Side C's label seems to have been double pressed.

Aside from that though, this is a very good quality pressing and sounds great on my setup, and the addition of the bonus track Hollowheart is a nice touch. Worlds is a very influential album for me, so I'm glad to own it, especially since the discs themselves have a beautiful transparent marble finish to them which really adds to the whole package.

WOW, this pressing sounds LEAGUES better then the OG. there's little to no static and it feels cleaner. Yeah, there's nothing special about the package aside from the cover and discs, but it's simple and the best variant. another porter W.

When does the Worlds Live vinyl come out? Seems they haven't shipped my order from August yet because I ordered that too

i have the original 2014 copy, and this sounds better to my ears. the og had lots of static, almost as if it was intentional. this sounds much clearer, and louder too!

yes the packaging is not that much different, but im okay with that. the clean sound justifies it enough for me. im happy.

What other people are saying about this are correct: there isn't much in of cool additions for the 10th anniversary. The cover is holographic, it says "10th Anniversary Edition" on the cover, and Hollowheart is added to disc 2's sleeve notes. That's all that really sets this apart from the original. However, as someone who's been a bit disappointed by Porter physicals before, I wasn't expecting much so I wasn't really disappointed. The sound is good, unsure of how it compares to the original vinyl (despite the fact I have that too) but it sounds clear on my ittedly not the best computer speakers. My one complaint is that they didn't fix how blurry the actual cover art was printed on the original. The text on the cover is clear and crisp as day, but the kaomoji and hand are a bit blurry. Overall, kinda sad that they didn't do more with this, but for 46 bucks it's not a horrible deal. I agree it should have been a gatefold though.
