Lynyrd Skynyrd – (Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd)

This release is from 1980.On my record protect sleeve is printed PATENT Nos. 1,126,666 Made in Great Britain

The sound quality is pretty good considering it was pressed by Record Club of America. Does anyone know if '75 was the only year it was manufactured by the Record Club? And was it actually pressed at Gloversville as the stamp in the runout indicates?

Quite simply one of the best sounding rock records in my collection. This thing sounds awesome. "Free Bird" is given an entire side, and it's so freaking good.

This brings out detail in the vocals in a way I did not think was possible. Other versions have a "tape artifact" sort of sound to the vocals in a lot of tracks. Not so here.

And Free Bird is just perfect here. Man, this is a treat.

Another stellar pressing from MOV. Beautiful job on this. I have yet to have any MOV release that is anything short of awesome.

While this pressing sounds good; up against my 1975 black rainbow Gloversville pressing, it doesn’t win. Both VG+.

Great sounding pressing. Shot this against my 1973 yellow label Sounds Of The South pressing. This 1975 sounds better. Both VG+ condition.

This pressing sounds amazing, has a very nice instrument separation and stereo image!

Their first and most Iconic album, get it on tape costs 2-3x less than a reissue on vinyl
