Simple fun & catchy song w/ a colourful mix of textures, an off-kilter sensibility & subtle weirdness, sparse verses, great guitar riffs, ugly snare sound & a solid hook that was released right as the curtain closed on the 80's that signaled the last of the New Wave movement. Popular at retro 80's nightclubs.

The full length Roger Sanchez "Time & Space" remix from 1997 was never commercially released on CD (only the radio edit was). But if you want the next best thing, check out the version Ultimix put on this issue.. They used the Time & Space mix to create their version and they pretty much just re-edited it & added a few samples, so it's the best alternative if you want something on CD longer than the radio edit.

As far as I've seen, these US promo-only remixes by Louil Silas Jr. are exclusive to this release, and combine the Monie Love rap over a mix closer to the original with added edits, etc. Definitely geared to the US market compared to the very different Monie Love Remix released in Europe/UK.
