Found this one SEALED although the seal was damaged, still astounding to find such a record in near mint condition even if it's not the first pressing. Just a fantastic historic house tune. Larry Heard carries the crown for "deep house" originator. His tunes contained chords that were suggestive of something far under the surface of what house music was achieving in the mainstream. -

The first Deep House song. This song became one of the most important songs not in House Music, but in general. Mr. Fingers paved his way into greatness of amazing music that he produces. Thank you Larry Heard for making this amazing song. -

The start of 'Deep' House is often descried. For me, it's simply Larry Heard stamping his unique signature (self-released I believe) by way of showing that the most seemingly uncomplicated tracks, laconic and unpretentious in production, are really the best and most satisfying. This has remained a constant in much of his production - till this very day with the latest release. The ability to ride repetition and simplicity in a disciplined, subtle way that holds the attention and develops at a deep level is far from simply 'Deep House'. It's an uncanny ability. I never grow tired of this track and come back to it regularly - as I do a number of his other tracks past and present

Bought my copy in the late 90's, between 96 and 98 I would say. Anyone knows when the reissue came out? -

Gah, so my favorite 'Dub version' mix is only on the hard-to-come-by 1985 version!?! Amazing tune. -

The first deep house music. This song is a very important piece in the history of house music. They should do a reissue on the Alleviated Records one. -

Why isn't anyone mentioning the b side by The it. Donnie, Hardy Mix is a classic also. I wish I would've been able to dance to this in a club. This is a very sexy classic vibe. Miss the old school. My vinyl plays great!!! Hope everyone is enjoying their copies!
