As in most Quad pressings, the mix differs significantly even if played on a 2 channel system. John's vocals are more pronounced on most tracks, which make him sound like he's right in front of you. There are other times when recording effects (i.e. reverb, echo, eq levels on different instruments) from where the 4 channel mix is being squished into a 2 channel mix makes the sound different from the regular stereo mix. I'm not a sound engineer, so my apologies for not being able to describe the technicalities of the sound. It's definitely a worthwhile pressing to own if you have the means. Too bad this is the only Quad version available - would've been cool if both 'Chronicles' were released in the Quad format!

Carrollton pressing? As run out has G1 with an “A” after?

I have this version (Matrix /Runout) but with barcode - back cover looks like the other version with the other Matrix / Runout.

I've got this with the same Side B label stuck on both sides.
