Is there anything that sounds more ahead of its time than Beat the Knuckles?
I mean, not even Acid Trax or Alleys of your Mind...
        It's insane.
        How did they do this?

Absolutely vicious! The hardest of the versions here IMO is the "Work The Box (Vocals)" version, which is tragically too short at only 4+ minutes. But every version here is great, goes along with other mid 80's house trax like Sleazy D's "I've Lost Control" (or his nastier "Trust" which "Ive Lost Control" is based on), "Acid Trax", and any other dark, deep, sweaty drugged out house tracks you can think of. Essential.

Ron Hardy, Adonis and Frankie Knuckles, what more could you ask for. The stand out track for me is B2, Beat The Knuckles which is typically Ron Hardy, experimental and miles ahead of its time, not sounding out of place in a minimal techno mix of today. A very under rated release and well worth picking up. I am on the hunt for a 2nd copy for myself.
