The second Platinum Breakz comp from the powerhouse jungle/dnb label Metalheadz, some seriously killer tracks on this one, a great mix of the rough with the smoother elements from the Metalheadz roster. -

One of the greatest DnB albums of all times. So many heavy hitters. A must have for all classic DnB heads. -

great compilation for those who can't afford the original vinyl 12"s of all these classic tracks -

This release actually has 8 tracks on CD1 and 9 on CD2, not the other way round as the release information shows. -

Great album. Stand out track is obviously 'Promise - Dillinja'. Absolute belter of a tune and some of Karl's finest work. Classic Dillinja drum patterns and booming 808 bass hits throughout and then in come the heavy amens after the second drop - it's a must have for all vinyl selectors! This is the only way you can get this tune legally on vinyl (unless of course you've somehow got one of them acetate copies which is unlikely) :P -

Some blinders on this 2 CD set, including some of the best on the label IMO including Promise, On the Nile, Metropolis, Your Sound (Remix) & Melt to name but a few. Classics

I don't quite understand why the 1st Compilation of the plat. breakz is recommanded more often than this part, allthough i. m. O. here the tracks are more advanced, deeper, stranger and darker as well. I like the first part too, but this one is my personal favorite!
Still now a very good abstract Funk Release.
Maybe a bit more experimental than on the 1st part. -

This is a stunning 2 cd pack from Metalheadz & one of the first cd's i ever bought that converted me to the dark sounds of the genre. All the tunes on this album are brilliant and classics. My personal favs are the futuristic 'To shape the future' by the legendary Optical. The awesome 'Your sound' remix by J majik. The dark & eerie 'Arabian nights' & the classic 'Metropolis'. Special mention must also go to Source direct for their contribution.
Overall this is a must have cd for any drum & bass fan and a reminder to where drum & bass was in the late 90's.

This is a fantastic who's who in the world of d+B from around 1997 that is still relevent today. Fantastic metalheadz sound on virtually all tracks which was sadly lacking on PB III
