Beatles for Sale is the fourth studio album by British rock group The Beatles, released on December 4, 1964 in Great Britain. In , the album was released on November 13, 1964, where it was their sixth album, including the compilation album. A modified version of the album was released in the United States on December 15, 1964, entitled Beatles '65. The UK version of Beatles for Sale was released on CD in the US on July 21, 1987.

You know this actually sounds good now obviously if it was a better mix it would probably be better but its a 60s album and having centered vocals is a miracle from 60s stereo -

My copy is the same. Says СТЕРЕО on labels, but sounds 100% MONO! It would be simply IMPOSSIBLE to release stereo record without ANY difference between channels in 1964! Are you kidding me? You must change it to MONO! -

I agree with 'krisjay' as regards the to the wonderful sound on this pressing. Harry T. Moss mastered this sucker beautifully, with a straight-forward realism to it that really works. 'I'll Follow The Sun' sounds so realistic it's as though the Fab Four are 'right there', ya dig? Awesome... -
Just listening to mine on single speaker (my amp needs deox'd) and sounds pretty great. I have matrix variant 2, and I purchased all of these 87/88 cd releases in longboxes in Canada... unfortunately, I threw most of mine away otherwise I'd attach a photo.

Picked this up Mint and this stereo version really is fantastic. -
Top notch cut on this one. Whoever mastered this knew what they were doing. Guitars and vocals that jump out of the speakers. Great early 80s reissue.
