Pennywise – About Time

Best Pennywise album by far. Almost all the songs are great

I got this copy after receiving the black edition with a surface noise due to a heat line across side 1 and it sounds way better but still need some light remaster for this album original recording

Can someone confirm in how this supposed "2014" release is different from the 1995 press? When I look at the history on this version, looks like some tried to merge the two versions but it was denied. I also see that some mention that the barcode is different and that it's 8714092643718. That said that barcode seems to indicate the 2017 European repress. From what I can see here, the barcode listed and matrix are matching the 1995 press...so still trying to understand in how this is an actual repress. If anyone can confirm that would be great!

The best or second best (let's say this one and Full Circle are equal) PW album. Jason's lyrics hit hard and when the final notes of the album comes at the end of "Killing Time" I always feel totally awed and in a kind of sudden goodbye to the main songwriter of Pennywise. When he was there they were able to make albums that were solid from beginning to end. Not to say they didn't make anything good after Full Circle, but Straight Ahead is a bit uninspired, Land Of The Free? is amazing but only the first half of the album, From The Ashes is even less inspired than Straight Ahead. The Fuse was their last real effort at conveying their message and had quality song writing. After that, it's a handful of good songs per album, or just not Pennywise (sorry, but Ignite are awesome, but he has such a particular voice (so does Jim in fact) that it sounded like a less hardcore Call On My Brothers on that album with Zoli on vocals. A must, their first 4 albums and we could include the 2 7 EP's put together in 1989 as their best material, and such forever. After hearing the last album, I couldn't believe this was the same band that played with my intellect and emotions in such a raw way as About Time.

This is supposed to be yellow vinyl, anyone elses copy translucent orange?
