Great pressing and the vinyl looks spectacular, but some of the tracks just don't sound very good - Meat Puppets, Danzig and Rob Zombie especially - but this is due to the original source material and not the vinyl. They just didn't have great production value to begin with, sadly.

The main reason, musically at least, to get this album is the first LP - Soul Coughing, Foo Fighters, William Burroughs & REM, Nick Cave, Filter, Frank Black and Meat Puppets - those are the gems on this soundtrack. Those are the tracks that you'll the most when you think of X-Files. The other LP does have Screamin' Jay Hawkins' Frenzy, which is my all-time favorite track on the soundtrack, but everything else is disposable IMO.

Despite some very disparate sound quality, this is still a must have on vinyl for its nostalgia and the new, excellent presentation.

Really appreciate that they included the track zero songs from the original release, and that you still have to make a bit of an effort to hear them!

My copy has a couple of very loud pops at the very end of the Sheryl Crow track. First time playing it out of the jacket and it happens everytime. Anybody else's copy doing that?

Excellent pressing quality and packaged very well. The sound quality is great. A++++. I've waited a long time for this release on vinyl and it was worth the wait. What are those 2 bonus tracks at the end of side D? I never noticed them on the CD and they aren't called out on the sleeve or labels.

Amazing sounding and looking album. This thing sounds GREAT. Enjoy The Ride Records are a stand up shop, will continue to order from them in the future. My copy did come with a gentle warp that does not effect play, but I attribute this to the fact that I live in AZ and its been super hot out here recently.
