Notes
In most regions, "Shout" was released in late 1984 as the 1st single from the Songs From The Big Chair album, which followed in late February. In the U.S., it was released as the 2nd single in late May or early June 1985, well after the album and after "Everybody Wants To Rule The World".
1st UK retail release:
• 12 Nov 1984 (IDEA 8 and IDEA 810)
• 17 Dec 1984 (IDEA 812)
Most releases of "Shout" have the right and left channels swapped from how they were intended; the cowbell is supposed to go from left to right, according to Chris Hughes.

A hit with the hip hop community back in the day - features big ass drum machine beats, DJs liked to cut it up -

Is this track SHOUT a contender for one of the most that influential to Hip Hop culture ... Those electronic drums and crashes is what Marley Marl was very interested in.
But back to the track Shout by Tears For Fears... Those words still powerfully resonate today in 2020... And a lot of the'yre other sounds... The big group that despite the typical infighting (They were sick to death each other like most big bands suffering from claustrophobia, in all the variants, managed to pull off some huge tunes in the early 80s... ;) -
