Just another record that isn’t rare but people charge hundreds for even in average condition (22 for sale at the time of writing this) I bought this on vinyl and CD just a few years ago before the fear and insanity gripped everyone and discogs turned into Sotheby’s for wankers.

referencing Blew (CD, EP) TUP CD8

Probably the Nirvana item/official release that i love more than everything else. After more than 10 years that a cd copy stands in my lil'collection everytime that a look at it ( cd runout matrix, sleeve etc etc ) always pretty skeptik about the autenticity of the item. For me much easier to identify a vinyl counterfeit ...i ve got 2 gorgeous copy of the legit 12" inch......but this f----n' cd version ( idem with the 4ttack Sliver cd) still make me Dubbiosissimo

Very pleasant vinyl to listen to, silent, lively and dynamic. Stain is by far my favourite version on this album. The solo, the bass, it just al fits. And sounds beautiful on this record.

That version of Been a Son is just weird, to me it sounds like a bad editing job on the bass solo part. But hey! I didn't sell 75 million records.

Supposedly limited to 3000 copies. I have no idea where that number originally came from, it is, as they say, old internet lore, but it would make sense considering Blew was only released for the UK market and Nirvana weren’t exactly a big name at that point. This, as well as the cd, was a real bitch to get hold of even back in the 90’s.

This was the only release of the Steve Fisk version of "Been a Son" featuring the epic bass solo until the 2002 compilation was released.

The only copies of this I've seen online are from Japanese sellers, so I reckon that's where it originates from (despite the Great Britain sticker designed to lull unsuspecting punters into thinking it might be an original Tupelo!)

Whoever bootleg'd this did a decent job. Raw, bass heavy sound and I don't think there needs anything to be said about the songs.

Has anyone a comparison between the original 12" and this?
