Kraftwerk – Die Mensch·Maschine

Simply stunning pressing, a level above the 2009 remaster and its subsequent repressings which in themselves are excellent, but this original is so much punchier and more dynamic I was genuinely quite shocked.

Don't get me wrong, these reissues and the subsequent repressings are excellent, i've been more than happy with mine for many years but i recently picked up a NM German first pressing and had to compare them. It wasn't even close, the originals are punchier and way more dynamic, I'm also converted to listening to the original German language versions, they just work better to my ears. I would never tell anyone not to buy these reissues, as I said they are excellent and very affordable, but if you can get your hands on a German first press then do it, you will not regret it, they really are a level above.

Stunning pressing, not a pop, click or hiss to be heard - just pure music. Not sure why all vinyl pressings cant be this perfect - they should be !

I recommend it to anyone who is looking for the best sound of this magnificent album. This vinyl plays better than all CDs. Great issue.

The Man Machine is the most important album by Kraftwerk and, in general, of that genre of electronic music that influenced bands like Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys and all the electro-pop and synth-pop bands of the 80s but also dance music (The Acid House, New beat, Techno) also thanks to Giorgio Moroder. The best songs, in my opinion, are The Model, The Robots, The Man Machine and Spacelab but the whole album is still fantastic.

Just got this from my local record store, sounds amazing, dead silent, very balanced, vinyl has a beautiful red, booklet's cool (even if a bunch of pictures don't really add anything to the album, I wish there was some info in there), overall an enjoyable experience.

My best sounding LP. Clean, punchy, well defined. Just perfect. Pay what you need to for a VG+ or above.
