IDK What is up with my copy but Cretin Hop (and a few other tracks) sounds low quality. Back to back with Rockaway Beach, the difference in sound quality is jarring. Can’t find anyone else talking about this

Dead flat with no surface noise.
High quality mastering and pressing.

Mine had few skips on b side but after cleaning with disco-antistat washer those skips disappeared. Sounds great.

This is a great pressing and EQ, wonderful soundstage and separation even though you’re enveloped by this ocean of raw sound.

Very thin matte stock cover. No insert with mine. What is interesting the Side B vinyl ends with "Surfin Bird"... which leaves a whopping great amount of empty grooves. There may have been some censorship because of the lyrics of "why is it always this way", which is weird when you think of the lyrics of the rest of the album. The logo is a darker pink.

This version is a revelation--I'm hearing subtle keyboard pads buried in the mix that I've never noticed before. And this mastering really brings out the drums--Tommy sounds more like Marky now, really powerful.

On my third copy now and they all have really bad distortion in the right channel. Bummer. Gave them a good cleaning but it’s still there. Sounds like Rice Krispies.
