Talking Heads – The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads

Has anyone encountered this copy with a wrap-around obi-style seal? Mine has one and there are no pics here of similar.

I Just acquired a near mint 1982 Winchester pressing. The sound is really excellent, although it doesn't have a particularly big or deep sounds stage, the record is dead quiet with outstanding detail. Drums in particular are clean and precise, with a very level overall presentation. Getting older records can always be hit or miss, and this particular one is fantastic. It's a great performance and great recording, and in this case great pressing. Record is also dead flat. A+

Lots of great bonus tracks here not on the original record. They've reconstructed the entire '80 set, but using different locations. Sounds amazing. Maybe they'll make a vinyl box set someday.

This album sounds amazing, deep bass and pronounced mids and highs. Fantastic pressing!

Excellent pressing - I’ve been avoiding newly issued vinyl as too many disappointments (Kevin Gray excepted) but this is absolutely brilliant; involving, detailed, spaced soundstage. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you Chris Bellman, ordered your Swordfishtrombones after listening to this.

The 2021 pressing in opaque red is the definitive one and sounds better. The 2013 edition doesn't sound bad but it is very normal, the 2021 edition is more detailed.

The best pressing I've heard of this album, I can't believe it. The details draw you into the music without distractions. This is a love
