Track 2 "My Snare" is better known as "Nature Is Ancient". "My Snare" is only used for the "Bachelorette" single. All other official Björk releases with this song use "Nature Is Ancient" as track title.

Let's just cut to the chase. The most outstanding remix of the lot is - quite easily - Alec Empire's The Ice Princess & The Killer Whale version. The beginning strains of the chilling industrial grinding aptly hints at the digital hardcore about to burst forth. Suddenly, a cacophony of epileptic drums explode, driving the track at insanely dangerous, breakneck speed. Anyone familiar with Alec Empire will know what I am talking about. This is accompanied by the angst-ridden vocals of Bjork, making one realise the self-confident Bachelorette in the original version has been transformed into a cold, sinister Ice Princess, who threatens: "If you forget my name, you will go astray." Trust me, no one will forget her name after the ear-pumelling experience.

Great! Of course the original is a hit, even it's really not my favourite, but here's not the point. On this record we hear 2 very dissimilar versions.

B side is a strings and voice only version (Howie B. Spread mix) which demands some additional beat, and that's what I heard from Kid Koala! At his Marsatac set in Marseille (09/2004), he mixed it with a Cypress Hill beat, and I can't the song, so if someone has it drop me a mail, cause I'd love to try it at home.

A side is the Alec Empire mix. In the same style of his other Bjork remixes (Joga), very dark and violent, perfect with Bjork's cold voice over his metallic or stone-cold harsh beats. Ice and rocks is what Iceland is, a good track to feel it. But it's also a very uncomfortable tune. The beat with its noisy distorted stabs messes with your head while the dark and low kind of melody is so scary that you would do anything to escape.

You'll have understand this record is the one you need to own!
