Beyoncé – Cowboy Carter

Upon purchase of a new copy, the record had surface scratches. Barnes and Noble would not accept an exchange. Records still play without skipping, however, don't know if this is a reoccurring issue with some of the pressings.

10/10 packaging, the booklet and poster are amazing just like with renaissance. sound is fantastic and very clear with little to no surface noise.

Although I'm not happy that this is not the full album, it's still sounds really good and I really do like the our cover art. The red 180g looks great, and I have no problems with the quality of the pressing. But this really should have been the full album for how much it cost

Despite the largely positive reports I’ve now had two copies of this, a blue vinyl one (returned) and this red vinyl one and both are super dull sounding with very little high frequencies and an almost mono sound stage. Spotify, which is hardly the last word in SQ, blows these vinyls I’ve sampled out of the water. Super dissatisfying

No inner groove distortion on alligator tears and amen, which is odd since amen ends with a high pitch sound.

Incredible sound on the pressing, also love how much effort goes into the packaging (full picture/lyric booklet, poster, proper inner sleeves, etc). She really goes that extra mile with her vinyl releases and you get a lot for your money

A flawless album. The tracklist being a QR code kinda pissed me off though… but overall it plays very well. I love the alternate version of “II Hands II Heaven”! Wish all the songs were included

When we talk about excellent vinyl releases, THIS is what we mean. Cowboy Carter is simply beautiful. You get 2 LPs housed in individual sleeves, with photos on both sides. Along with that is a booklet containing song lyrics and stunning photos from the album photoshoot. This booklet uses a heavier paper and is great quality. Also, you'll get a MASSIVE double-sided poster.

Very happy Bey released an LP with the full tracklist (I waited to find it for a good price because $60 is insane… Target currently has it for 30% off, so I jumped at the opportunity,) and I echo the other reviews that say the packaging is beautiful. That being said, I also echo that side B does sound unnaturally tinny compared to the others. I feel this may be because they decided to squeeze a bunch of songs onto that side instead of evenly redistribute the tracks across all sides (and thereby cut 4 new lacquers) to for the additional songs. This cost-cutting measure is disappointing, but I’d rather this than have a truncated tracklist.
