Still a huge track after all these years!!!

I first heard the Extra remix while visiting New York City in the fall of '97. Went to Twilo and Junior Vasquez laid it down with a vengeance taking full advantage of the club's amazing sound system. I've heard this track a million times since that night. And although it's always most fun to dance to a fantastic song the first-time, I never get tired of this version. And judging from how people still go crazy, I'm not alone.

<I>Fly Life</I> is an example of how recycling makes the environment better. In this instance, we’re talking about the club environment and how this track stormed the floors in 1997. Taking elements from their earlier track “Live Your Life With Me,” the Jaxx boys turn it into a flanged monster. The original works better than the “Brix” mix, with its ragga vocals, but that’s a minor quibble. Roni Size strips the track of everything except a few synth hits in his drum ‘n’ bass remix. The Erick Morillo and Cajmere mixes don’t really add anything, but with such great source material, you don’t necessarily need to.
