Scorpions – Lovedrive

Manufactured in stamped on matrix / runouts on both sides.

I bought this version on imusic because this album is one of my top 3 Scorpions' discography and what an AWFUL pressing. So disappointed. It sounds too much bright and as the other friend said i also had to turn a lot the treble of my receiver to help a little bit.

By the way, the CD sound wasn't good that too. It also sounds too much bright to me. This is the worst remastered vinyl edition i have. Looking for the original pressing!

A very surprising pressing. Great instrument separation. Quiet vinyl. Excellent soundstage. I didn’t know what to expect when I found it at my local record store because I hadn’t heard of the “Fame” label but I’m glad I picked it up.

This japan pressing is good . I compare it with my another US mercury copy and personally i prefer the japan copy . Dynamics, clarity and well mastered. vinyl is black translucent .

One of scorpions great album . For this pressing , the highs are slightly boosted . some sibilance . overall mastering is quite ok . Recommended if you want to get the alternative album cover version .

i opened the fotos of this pressing to see if there's an insert with this and discogs wouldnt let me see the back cover with the lady i had to to see the photo ""due to content"" i mean RIGHT BOOB :-)...this world has gone mad...

This is a rock classic album from late 70's and sounds great. The sound on this German pressing is fresh, warm and crispy.

Like others have commented on, pretty damn bright sounding. Had to turn the treble a quarter lower to help it sound alright. Doesn’t sound as good as the older pressings. Cool that it came with a cd though. I love this album so much, this pressing just doesn’t do it justice though. I’m only gonna keep it cause of the booby cover art haha

Not Listed in discogs : My copy of a US press Lovedrive with the Censored with Blue Scorpion Cover and the labels are towers with skyline Mercury SRM-1-3795. Matrix is R133631 (in the dead wax and on the labels). Back cover stamped with : Manufactured by RCA Music Service Under License and this is printed on the labels right under Scorpions Lovedrive as well. I came to check discogs because I have seen these RCA Music Service before on other records. If you find this listed please email me. Thanks, Also this copy sounds real good..
