Kate Bush – Never For Ever

Superb pressing for a fantastic record. And it was relatively easy to find.

I have these codes:
Matrix / Runout (Side A Runout): BTA 12540 A S7 3 90
Matrix / Runout (Side B Runout): BTA 12540 B S7 7 89
since we have an "1" in the combination BTA 12540, I read the digit after the letter S as seven "7"

Sounds wonderful. Dead quiet, great pressing

Randomly stumbled upon a great condition copy of this pressing and it sounds really fantastic. Warm and present with a great snap to the snare drum

As usual with these official "fish people" reissues, the sound is almost perfect and the color of the LP gorgeous !!
No pops or cracks and a very clear clean sound during the entire listen.
The smokey grey disc is very elegant and beautiful. I can't recommended it enough, superb way to discover Kate Bush's musical legacy !!

Reviewing every record in my collection;

Overall, a really nice pressing! I've owned the original non-profit variant of this pressing and the differences are evident: better printing quality on sleeve, Sharp edges and of course the white promo stamp. I wish I had a pressing from another country to compare it with, but sadly I don't. I can't truly judge it since it has a bit of background noise, especially near the endings, maybe I'll take it to a place for it to be ultra sonically cleaned.

Also, how sad this is not a gatefold, really don't understand why they didn't do it

In general it would sound good but there is tons of non-fill and long-lasting scratches which destroys any listening fun

Grabbed the record because of Babooshka from a local record store - definitely did not expect this to be such a gem.
The pressing is fantastic too. I enjoyed every second of this.

Another wonderful Record Industry job making these KB reissues even more spectacular. This is my 4th one of the coloured variants and im 4 for 4. They all play silent and nigh flat. They can seem abit steep but i managed 20% off by waiting for an Ebay code and they cost me £30 each which is fine by me given how high quality the whole packagings are.

Another excellent, flawless pressing. I wasn’t happy with the high price of most titles in this series of reissues but am starting to change my mind. They are actually living up to Bush’s claims that they are “the definitive versions” and when they’re this good when so many other highly priced titles are full of crackle that can’t be cleaned away, I guess I’m happy to pay the price.
