P!NK – Funhouse

Side A does sound a bit off, but I’ve definitely heard worse before. The rest of the sides sound amazing and loud, and the color is gorgeous- just wish it was a gatefold since it’s a very tight fit with inner sleeves :/

Side "A" of this albums sounds bad, like muffled and "opaque", really compressed
the rest of the album sounds pretty good, to be honest I don't know what happened with side A
such a shame cause "Sober" is one of my favorite songs of this album.

While I agree this isn’t the perfect pressing I have to say it’s not as bad as the previous review stats. The records are light weight, come in a standard sleeve- no gatefold. Track 1 on each side sounds like a high quality streaming quality but 3/4 sides track 3 have varying amounts of inner groove distortion however, it’s not completely unbearable to listen to.
On a personal preference note; this album would’ve fit 1LP especially if the track list was more thought out. Having 12 songs on 2LPs when the sound quality isn’t stellar is a waste. They could’ve added some bonus tracks and b sides if they had to make it a double lp.

I think most people will agree this is P!nk's most iconic album to date. However, this pressing is sadly not that good. The records themselves are two of the most lightweight records I've ever held. They almost feel plastic-y. As for the sound quality, even though it's not bad, there are some noticeable issues (especially on side A). There's a weird "hissing" sound in the background of So What, and a couple of other tracks on this LP are way too compressed. Other than that, there are no pops etc, and I'd say that these issues aren't big enough to make the album unenjoyable. I'd still recommend buying this instead of paying a small fortune to get your hands on the colored variants!

Percussion sounds like someone splashing around in the tub

The other side's are better but won't blow you away, and are listenable.

The only positive is the mix brings the backing vocals out nicely

Does anybody know, how many of these fine boxes were made?

Got mine today, disc 1 looks more like a swirl/marble yellow, whereas disc 2 is the translucent yellow I expected from the pictures I had seen.

Fantastic Pressing. Love the color choice!! The inner sleeves look very cool as well. This is a classic and must have album for collectors of pop music

Mine arrived warped. It doesn't seem to affect the playback but my ears are not the best. The colour is amazing, I'll give them that.

Yellow is so cool and it sounds ok i guess.
