Charley Crockett – The Man From Waco

My copy sounds pretty solid, flat and clean, although the label appears to be the same as the alternate cover version. Anybody else have this issue?

Feeling like a lucky bastard - got an autographed copy at a Europe show for 35 bucks and it plays amazing! Nothing warped, no surface sounds. It's a studio quality experience and I'm enjoying every second. This album is so on point and really a manifestation of the things he does best!

Just phenomenal. This one is the best to date. Odessa is my kryptonite. Hands down beautiful and meaningful song. Charley has done the math and figured out the formula for the most personable and relatable songs. Just flat out love that guy.

Absolutely love this album. Charley is an amazing songwriter. But this pressing has a bunch of surface noise, especially in the dead wax areas. Does anyone have a dead quiet pressing? Wondering if I should exchange???

Worst dish warp I've ever seen in a new record. Just absolute trash - unplayable. So sad because I love this album. I wouldn't take your chances on this one.

This is a truly incredible record. I bought it at the merch table at his show in Detroit Nov. 22nd. I was pleased to see that the vinyl was in a protective sleeve and not housed in shrink wrap, plus the record itself was inside a poly-lined inner sleeve. The vinyl is perfectly flat and while it has a little bit of surface noise at times, it is mostly a dead silent record. The main star of this record is the mastering, which I assume was done from the master tape or a one-off tape copy. Jeff Powell did an amazing job with this and sonically, it beats some of my "audiophile" pressings. Really glad I picked this one up while it's available.

Ordered a copy from Amoeba and it was fine- flat, centered. Only complaint is it was pretty dirty out of the sleeve.
