It is all about "Shadow Dancing", really. Still fresh, still innovative, still impressive after more than 2 decades. Thank you Theo.

lo fi, music that sounds better LOUD.
carpet people is your idiot funk record with the snappy disco loop build up that takes you to the brink of hating life, then it unleashes ping pong balls in the form of pure sound causing jack to do the funky penguin all over the floor.
dancing in the shadows is the LATE night shuffler you could probably play next to rheji burrell records of old and other new york and deep lost classics.
wait a minute, it's the jbs! this is one of those songs that when dj's play it, chances are the kick is distorted to pieces cos the levels are pegged to the red and the dj is dancing completely to some other time signature that has no resemblence to the one being played. IT's late, really late and the music hasn't stopped, yet.
This is also a record that if utilised properly will lift a dj set from plodding and to head spinning, and on the otherside, well you know.
