Daft Punk – Digital Love

Awesome extended edit of this killer track!

Sound-wise this pressing sound fantastic; it utilizes the full side straight to the label and has wonderful dynamics, especially with being cut at 45 RPM. Sadly my copy has quite the non-fill issue however; record is visually immaculate, but plays with light crackle in the right channel. It's very audible the first minute or so, and then gradually gets better. Multiple wet cleans later, no difference. Not sure if it's universal to all copies or just mine, but figured it shouldn't go unmentioned.

Probably my favorite single from Discovery... The gem of the album. Great vocal pop house. Love the nice artwork and label too.

Probably my favorite tune from discovery. I love the artwork here... the little hearts on the labels, the cover art, very nice. Quite a musical little number even all these years later

This is an amazing song off of their hit album, Discovery. A timeless classic that still doesn't sound dated and I don't think ever will. With vocals done by Thomas Bangalter himself, this single is a very feel good song and puts the listener in a very good mood! An amazing track and it will be worth every penny no matter what version of the release you pick up.

Interestingly the lyrics to this song were written by DJ Sneak.

A great track from Daft Punk. It starts off with nice romantic vocals and moves on with some funky elements. The guitar riff in the end is the best part for me.
However there is one major complaint with the single version (radio edit); Daft Punk have edited the riff, removing the most intense section of that portion. For anyone who has actually listened to the original track, that leaves a very bad taste. I wish artists would pay more attention to details before they release edited versions of tracks.
Avoid buying this, unless, for some reason you like the dub version over the original.

An excellent club edit of Digital Love! Starts and ends with a new beat that you can easily beatmatch with, and adds some neat effects that add even more to the track, this edit makes the original obsolete when it comes to the dance floor!

I Love this track, made me me smile from the day I got it. I played it first at a friends house warming party of all places, and played it just as the midnight track. It worked in a set with all sorts of other tunes, and just seemed to sum up the friendly atmosphere. I think I threw Sanchez's Another Chance on after which worked quite well...

The Filter Guitar riff and the super cool Rhodes breakdown, mixes well with the vocoded vocals,and it sounds a bit, and I hasten to add a BIG bit, like "Video killed the radio Star" by The Buggles, listen to them and you will see what I mean !

Dont get me wrong, "Around The World" is still my favorite Daft Punk tune and "One More Time" certainly had more impact on the dance scene than this release, But I drop this when ever and whereever I can, Its just a superb feel good track.

The song is very nice.
It first begins with a soft tone that you can barely hear, then it gets a little louder, the lyrics are soothing.
Daft Punk is definatly one of the more better bands in the music world.
