Edited 3 months agoAlthough this is a very good release by Deutsche Grammophon (Porcelain sounds hauntingly beautiful on a cassette), there is one little failure - boot part of the tape apparently doesn't have enough lubrication, it squeaks as hell while going through the pinch roller. Is there anyone else with the same problem?

I really like this new version of his best songs. The more I listen to it the more I love!
Just some click or pops but enjoyable listening. Recommend for all Moby fans -

Moby bei der "Deutschen Grammophon"! Leider weiß er offenbar nicht so recht, etwas mit Dolby Atmos anzufangen. Die Instrumente kleben oft an den Boxen, kaum Tiefenwirkung. Schade auch, dass synthetische Streicher zum Einsatz kommen - wenn auch sehr gute. Eine vertane Chance. Mit der Mikrofonie steht Moby auch auf Kriegsfuß: Lofi was nicht zu den edlen Klängen t. Dennoch wunderbar zum Hören. Die Songs sind das Ereignis, nicht Aufnahme und Mix. -

Good pressing and sound. Interesting "interpretation" of the classics Moby songs. Unnaceptable paper inner sleevs.

great record, but pressing is not up to the deutsche gramophone standards! click and pops all over... -
And again a really bad pressing, released by Deutsche Grammophon. Far too much surface noise for this beautiful music.
DG already failed with the pressings of "The Wind" by Balmorhea, "Playground In A Lake" by Clark, "The Turning Year" by Roger Eno, "Inner Symphonies" (red vinyl) by Hania Rani & Dobrawa Czocher, "Reflections" (clear vinyl) by Víkingur Ólafsson, "Philip Glass: Piano Works" by Víkingur Ólafsson and "Biala Flaga" by Hania Rani & Dobrawa Czocher".
Where's the quality control? -

My copy has some non-fill. I have a feeling that this is probably one that will be better served by the CD version. -
Very good sounding pressing, no hiss or crackles, I recommend this one. -

Had this a few months, just given it a second spin. Very clean and quiet pressing even though I have some surface dust present from static - need to run through the spin clean and place in some anti-static sleeves, but no pops or crackles anywhere on my copy.
As for the music, well it's all a matter of taste, but suited my weekend morning mood....
